I only have excellent things to say about my experience with Jeanne at Barton Creek Lending. She did so much to make a typically stressful experience as smooth as possible. Jeanne is outrageously accessible and responsive. When shopping for rates, I visited my large, reputable credit union and one of the biggest FDIC banks in the country. The credit union put me on a teleconference to loaning agents in who knows where. The bank sent me away with an 800 number to call. Jeanne scheduled our first meeting in a coffee shop on a Sunday morning. She stayed in close contact on days I was out shopping, and encouraged me to text her addresses of homes I was seriously considering so she could have a specific pre-approval letter ready asap. For anyone who has purchased in tight market, you know that kind of responsiveness is both rare and excessively important. Plus, what can I say, numbers don’t lie. She had my pre-approval letter to my realtor within 3 hrs of my request, she closed me in 3.5 weeks and did this at a rate that beat my big bank and matched my credit union. If I had to do this all over again tomorrow, there is no chance I’d work with anyone else. If you’re reading this, it’s probably appropriate to wish you luck with your purchase. I was given the BLESSING of working with Jeanne. My husband and I are first time home buyers, so the entire process was new to us. Including terminology. Jeanne effortlessly and patiently walked us through all our many MANY questions. She answered all phone calls, texts, and emails with lightning speed. We had few setbacks as to the type of loan we thought we wanted, and she just helped us until we finally settled on the best fit for our situation. She was referred to me by my friend, and I know I will be referring her out to my other friends in the future. You might hear lots of people complain about what a headache or a nightmare the home buying process is, but I can honestly say that working with Jeanne was SO SMOOTH! This is our first house, and it just felt like God brought us to the perfect person to help us finance the perfect home. I give Jeanne 10 stars! IF I had a complaint, it's that she does not live in the Houston area and that's a shame! Because I am going to refer her SO MUCH business in the Houston market! Amie
